Satchiko Ceramics

Satchiko is a Brooklyn-based ceramic artist originally from Kumamoto, Japan. She studied at Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo before moving to New York in 2007. Her work is all hand-built, and each piece revels in the uniqueness of a different face. No two pieces are exactly the same. Her work celebrates lifestyles filled with tiny happiness: delicious food, old-fashioned stories, and keeping a serene space filled with flowers, books, and other simple pleasures of life.
