Object Matter Ceramic is a Los Angeles-based ceramic and design studio founded by Carrie Lau, who is a multitalented artist, including illustrator, art director, and ceramicist. Her work is known for its modern, curvilinear forms, playful movement, and natural tension.

Carrie uses the creative process to achieve mindfulness. Her ceramics, paintings, textiles, and art objects reflect her curiosity about materials, shapes, colors, and cultural influences from Hong Kong, California, and her travels.
