Sunrise Ceramics, born and raised in sunny San Diego, journey with pottery began in junior year when a friend introduced him to a ceramics club. That transformative day ignited a passion for shaping clay. Senior year, he delved into ceramics as an elective, setting the stage for his artistic pursuits.

Initially, he pursued international business while running on the cross country and track team in college. Two years in, he felt a profound disconnect and courageously left to seek fulfillment.

Returning home just before the pandemic hit, 2020 became a turning point. He founded Sunrise Ceramics, blending his love for pottery with the vibrant energy of San Diego’s waves.

Surfing is his soul’s rhythm, complementing the meditative dance with clay. From sunrise to sunset, Sunrise Ceramics is on a mission to savor each day, capturing moments in ceramics and riding the waves of life.
